[ Seodore Riddle returned home, but only for a moment. Things happened. A lot happened and he, with all his goodie bags and whatnot, ends up on the Astral Express while Welt is away with Himeko(?).
Pompom was probably perplexed. So was Seodore.
Luckily, he remembers some lookalikes from the AU scenario that he had gone through with Welt and Chihiro, so when he sees the "kids", he knows he must be where Welt is from--or at least, people that he's usually with.
So he waits like a good guest for days. He sometimes played cards with the Trailblazer, offhandedly musing out loud if they have a twin to take his victory from the sheer confusion it brought to the table. He sometimes followed Dan Heng into his room, because apparently it's a treasure trove of information. "What are you doing in my room"--he was probably kicked out a lot. And March? Well, he usually isn't seen around her, because he realized just how much photos she likes taking and he won't be having that. He doesn't even sign the guestbook.
He does ask Pompom if there's a smoking area. His mental state is very dependent on that answer (you can choose, Snow).
Anyway, and then the two "adults" of the group return for whatever reason. ]

it's not unusual for him to be accosted by the others when he returns to the express, when he's one of the people that goes off board for whatever reason. the others want to know what he got up to, if he brought them anything - but, most importantly, if he's alright.
the first time he returned, they had no idea that he'd been gone for two weeks, but he had the evidence in the form of the goodie bags and gifts for them from the 90s.
the second time, he'd left with himeko and intends to meet them at the xianzou luofu with her, to ask how they faired in the wardance. but as they're walking down the hall of the express, he can hear pompom yelling out a "No smoking here! If you're going to smoke, you have to go to the back of the Astral Express! Pompom is warning you, and it'll be for the last time!" ]

[ before he has a chance to ask any question, the door to the archives - and, thus, to dan heng's room - slams open, as if sensing the Adults™ have returned. it's a cacophony of noise from the three of them, albeit mostly from march. something about a visitor that's specifically there for him rather than any of them. rather unusual, given the trailblazer's constant visitors from the worlds they've visited.
his brows raise. odd. but he moves past them, leaving himeko to calm them for now, and pulls open the door -

[ No, he isn't. Regardless, he decides that he'll be hanging out at the back of the Express for a long time, because by god, he needs a smoke so bad--preferably in a peaceful way.
But then he hears that Welt and Himeko returned and turns his head towards the door to see Welt standing there. He sees Himeko past Welt's shoulder too and he starts feeling a series of emotions that he wishes he didn't have. What if they're actually married?? He doesn't want to make things weird for a happily married couple? He's not here to homewreck--
Wait, what is he even thinking. Does this mean he actually considered Welt--no. He's going to stop himself right there. No more thoughts on that. Bad. Bad Seo.
He looks a little chagrined when he smiles over at him. ]
